Gently flared skirt with gathered details in Triangular Madras Patchwork, a mid-rise elasticated waist and side pockets. Made using 100% deadstock, surplus mill fabric. The fabric is patched together from triangular cut-outs of leftovers from other Madras Fabrics. A truly unique and rare piece with geometric visual complexity that nods to an earlier handmade era.
Note: This garment is made from DEADSTOCK Fabric. Around 80 million tons of textiles end up in landfills each year as waste. We hand pick PRE-CONSUMER / DEADSTOCK textile from some of the best mills in India - that was destined for landfill. This also makes this piece highly limited. This saves energy and gives ‘waste’ a new life. This piece poses the question: If there were a conscious and accessible way to express your style - Would you take it?
