Refund/Return/Exchange policy

Our Own Pace is a conscious brand that operates on a cut-on-order model, meaning that we do not keep stock of garments but rather keep stock of fabric so that we can cut it as per the orders that we receive. This helps us to reduce wastage, reduce unsold inventory that may need liquidation and to keep less stock of fabric on hand, meaning that we are more efficient with the products of the efforts put in by skilled artisans. This also adds a lot of exclusivity to the garments that we make.

 

For the above reasons please be certain about your order before you place it. For any sizing questions you can reach out to us at help@ourownpace.co or our Instagram. We do not provide exchanges for change of mind.

 

Return/Exchange Policy:

Our Own Pace does not offer refunds unless an incorrect item was delivered. Orders are cut and processed as soon as we have received payment in full. All orders go through a stringent quality check before shipping.

 

Exchanges are permitted within 2 days of the customer receiving the item, for items of equal or greater value in case of a sizing issue or if an incorrect item was delivered. The product you are exchanging must be in original condition with original tags; unwashed, unworn and undamaged. 

In case of custom orders, exchanges are not entertained.

Shipping fees for exchanges will have to be paid before the exchange order is shipped and will be charged basis the ship-to location. For exchanges, barring cases arising from defective items, shipping will be handled by the customer.

We hold the right to not accept returns in case the product is used or damaged by the customer. Shipping costs for exchanges are at customers' expense unless an incorrect item was delivered. Exchanges have to be delivered to us within 7 days of return approval.

 

To request an exchange, email help@ourownpace.co. All exchange requests are subject to availability. Clothing sent to us without a prior email will not be accepted.

 

It is not possible to cancel an order once it is placed. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

We don't accept exchanges or returns on sale or discounted products and certain handmade goods like Incense etc

In case of handwoven and hand-dyed products, due to the nature of the dyeing process, colours and textile weight will vary between different lots. This is not deemed to be a fault. Also, unevenness in colour & texture of print is not a fault but what adds to the uniqueness of the garment.

While we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on the site, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or screen’s display of any colour will be completely accurate, as computer monitors and screens of electronic devices vary. Furthermore, colours might vary slightly in pictures as compared to the actual products.

It typically takes us 5-7 working days (Excluding weekends) to dispatch your order following which delivery happens in 2-3 working days.
