Conscious & Slow Processes

Take a peek at our processes from sourcing materials to collaborating with artisans to sending the garments to their new home as we prioritize our commitment to sustainable and ethical practices.

We only make in small batches using slow - manual processes. We source our fabric directly from weavers or GOI registered org to make sure our sourcing is ethical and the right people get paid. Currently we’re working with various weaving clusters in Eastern and Southern parts of India.

Our fabrics are made of 100% cotton (no synthetic fibers) and in looms which are operated in a traditional way without the usage of electricity. Most of the looms can only produce 12-15 meters of fabrics at a stretch which takes a minimum of 1-2 weeks to be produced and the looms can only produce 12 meters in one go. Most of our fabric comes with a ‘Handloom  Mark’ through which the source of the fabric and its authenticity can be easily traced.

All the trims such as buttons, labels, hangtags used on our garments is 100% biodegradable. Our production takes place in our small workshop in Mumbai where all our garments are cut, stitched and crafted by hand. We use complete plastic free packaging for our shipments.

We encourage you to wear, use and reuse our products frequently and with great care, ensuring their longevity and minimizing your consumption. Join us on our journey towards a fashion industry that is fairer and environment friendly.
