I've had the privilege of knowing Prachee for about 5-6 years now, witnessing her incredible journey - from working together at VegNonVeg to becoming an entrepreneur, launching her PR consultancy, THIS. Her agency has built an impressive roster of clients, including brands like Capsul, India's first multi streetwear brand store and artists like Shahrule. In this episode, we explore the insights of a young entrepreneur and discuss the significance of making mindful decisions while embracing a slower, more conscious lifestyle.

OOP: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and what you do?
Prachee: I’m Prachee! I run a creative PR consultancy I guess mostly what that means is I try to make artists and brands look good.
OOP: Why do you think is it important for people to embrace slow living?
Prachee: With everything so fast paced around us the least we can do is take a breath no matter what that means to an individual. Stop and smell the roses!
OOP: What are the 3 things you do to slow down?
Prachee: I work out without a set end time so whatever my body feels is the required movement - that’s what will be done. I try to read for a bit before bed and not use my phone to just feel a bit more connected to myself and I have a small morning routine that I follow - take my ginger shot, my vitamins and then my chai and fruits - doing this everyday intentionally really helps me be present and consistent.
OOP: How do you integrate sustainable practices into your fashion and beauty routines?
Prachee: I’m not gonna lie I’m not the best at this - with fashion I do try and support as many slow brands as possible and my clothes always have second homes. With beauty it’s small but I’ve tried to not use make up wipes and cotton pads - reusable microfibre all the way!

OOP: Any comment on homegrown fashion/ lifestyle brands, how you support them, and why do you think it's necessary for people to support them?
Prachee: If not them, then who? I love repping a homegrown brand in each fit I put together. Mostly because I feel more connected to my roots that way and it’s always good to be intentional.
OOP: What are some of the key sustainable practices you incorporate into your daily routine and you suggest people can do it too?
Prachee: Trying my best to use a reusable coffee cup and carry my giant water bottle so I’m not buying paper and plastic as much.
OOP: Any tip to manage work- life balance being a young entrepreneur?
Prachee: SLOW DOWN! The world will not end if you stop emailing at 5pm. Have boundaries - you don’t need to be accessible all the time. Clock in - clock out.
OOP: What does being at your pace mean?
Prachee: Doing things in the way that make my mind and body feel connected and in a way that keeps me consistent and steady.
