Continuing our OOPTalks with one of our wonderful customers and an inspiring father, whose thoughtful custom denim jacket journey for his toddler reminded us why we love creating pieces that become part of people's stories. We're incredibly grateful to have been a small part of these special moments and are excited to share a conversation about family, slowing down, and embracing life at your own pace.

It all began when Athang, after picking up one of our Type II Jackets, mentioned that he wished he could get one in raw indigo and ice wash for his son too.
OOP: Tell us a bit about yourself and what got you into what you do?
A: I work with my family at our agriculture technology business, where we're focused on creating solutions that improve the lives and livelihoods of farmers. It's rewarding to be part of a business that creates meaningful impact while continuing a legacy built over generations.
I was inspired by the impact the business had on farming communities from a young age. My grandfather, who founded the company, has been my biggest inspiration, and I wanted to contribute to the legacy he created.
OOP: What do you like to do on your day off?
A: Lately, my ideal day off includes reading, playing tennis, or going for a hike. Most of all, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and my two little ones.

OOP: What are three things you do to slow down? And why is it important?
A: Running long distances with music, making abstract art, and writing are the three things that help me slow down and reset. I think it's important to pause every now and then - it gives you perspective and helps you be more present in both work and life.
OOP: Let's talk about the cute shoot with your baby in the OOP jacket - how was the experience?
A: It was so much fun! He loves the jacket and even likes styling it himself sometimes, and I love watching his personality shine through.

OOP: What does being at your pace mean to you?
A: To me, being at my own pace means staying calm and grounded, no matter how busy life gets. It's about being present and doing things in a way that feels true to me.
